Katowice Major results so far

The first day of the IEM Katowice Major's New Legends Stage is underway and the best-of-one results are pouring in. With games still to play, compLexity Gaming, BIG, NRG eSports and ENCE eSports round out the bottom of the table, with 0-2 records.

The day kicked off with Cloud9 toppling a newly-reunited MiBR in a 16-3 upset that left Brazilian Counter-Strike fans shell shocked.

Elsewhere, Astralis executed a 16-6 stomp on compLexity, keeping alive their undefeated streak on Nuke. Then came a devastating 16-0 win over Cloud9 on Train to improve the Danes' record to 2-0.

HellRaisers managed to squeeze out ENCE 16-12 while G2 Esports came ahead of BIG 16-13. Team Liquid took down AVANGAR 16-12 as Ninjas in Pyjamas eked out NRG eSports 16-14.

Fan favorite FaZe Clan delivered a promising 16-4 stomp against HellRaisers, but lost a nail-biter to Renegades 16-14. Natus Vincere pulled ahead of G2 16-7 before winning a harrowing 25-22 map against Vitality.

Renegades took down ENCE 16-13 as Vitality brought down BIG 16-11, with MiBR managing to pull ahead of compLexity and close them out 16-9..
